【展示会のお知らせ】 鯨井円美・三輪周太郎 2人展 『翳りと冴え』

陶芸家の鯨井円美さんと金工作家の三輪周太郎さんによる2人展を開催いたします。

鯨井さんは茨城県笠間市を拠点に活動されています。
柔らかな質感と美しい色調の釉薬が特徴で、洗練された造形と相まって独自の存在感を放ちます。

三輪さんは兵庫県姫路市にて制作をされています。
銀のカトラリーや、銅・真鍮・アルミを用いた食器など、素材ごとの個性を活かしながら、ひとつひとつ手仕事で生み出しています。
金属を叩き出して生まれる造形は、端正でありながら温かみのある表情を持っています。

陰影の中に静かに際立つ美しさ。
翳りがあるからこそ冴えわたる造形の妙。
おふたりの作品が織りなす奥行きある世界をぜひご覧ください。

1984年 千葉県千葉市出身 2009年 女子美術大学工芸学科卒業 / 皮革補修店入社 2011年 茨城県窯業指導所入所 2013年 茨城県窯業指導所 終了 / 千葉県にて制作活動開始 2016年 茨城県に拠点を移し制作活動中

【Exhibition Announcement】
Marumi Kujirai & Shutaro Miwa
Two-Person Exhibition “Shadows and Clarity”

We are pleased to present a two-person exhibition featuring ceramic artist Marumi Kujirai and metal artist Shutaro Miwa.

Kujirai works in Kasama, Ibaraki Prefecture.
Her ceramics are distinguished by their soft textures and beautiful glazes, which, combined with refined forms, create a unique presence.

Miwa is based in Himeji, Hyogo Prefecture.
He meticulously crafts silver cutlery, as well as tableware made from copper, brass, and aluminum, bringing out the character of each material.
His hammered metalwork results in forms that are both precise and imbued with warmth.

Beauty emerges in the interplay of light and shadow.
Forms stand out in their full clarity precisely because of the depth of shading.

We invite you to experience the subtle yet striking world created by these two artists.

＜Marumi Kujirai＞
1984 Born in Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture
2009 Graduated from Joshibi University of Art and Design, Department of Crafts / Joined a leather repair company
2011 Entered Ibaraki Prefectural Ceramic Art Training Institute
2013 Completed training at Ibaraki Prefectural Ceramic Art Training Institute / Began independent work in Chiba
2016 Relocated to Ibaraki and continues to create there

＜Shutaro Miwa＞
1978 Born in Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture
1996 Enrolled in the basic course at Japan Jewelry Craft School
1997 Studied under Yuji Otani
1999 Became independent and began exhibiting at craft fairs nationwide
2016 Awarded the Rokuro Kurokawa Prize
